Opening and location.
When does Beaverton Sports Club open?
We plan to open September 1, 2026. The date is tentative and could shift, and the newsletter is the first place we'll confirm it. Join it here.
Where is the club?
5803 SW Beaverton-Hillsdale Hwy, Portland, OR 97221, on Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway serving Beaverton and southwest Portland.
What about parking?
Parking at the club is very limited today. We're working on creating more parking, and on adding technology that increases viewing capacity at the club, so more families can follow play.
What's in the facility?
Five indoor courts under one roof, so play and training run year-round, rain or shine.
What are the hours?
Hours will be announced before opening. Newsletter subscribers hear first.
Membership.
How does membership work?
Membership starts with the Court Access Pass: $120 a year for access to the club to purchase court time, Adult training, and the Tier 1 Junior Pathway. Additional membership options will be announced before opening. See the membership page.
What is a Founders membership?
A limited launch offer. You're purchasing account credit with a bonus added on top: buy $500 of credit and $75 is added, $575 to spend; buy $1,000 and $250 is added, $1,250 to spend. Membership dues are also waived for a full year. Founders memberships open August 17 and are limited to 30 and 15 families. Full details here.
How will court booking work?
Members will reserve court time online and book ahead for lessons, league, and open play. The booking system and full details will be shared before opening.
Will there be USTA league play?
Yes. We'll field USTA league teams through USTA Pacific Northwest, with home matches on our indoor courts. Team formation, captains, and schedules will be shared as we approach opening.
Tennis and Tier 1.
What is Tier 1?
Tier 1 is our tennis development pathway, built at Woodinville Sports Club and coming to Beaverton: one structured progression from a first swing to full-time academy training. The short version is here, and the full story lives at tier1nw.com.
How is my player placed in a group?
Placement starts with a coach evaluation, which recommends the level that fits. Brand-new players skip the evaluation and start in Tier 1 Core, the beginner entry point.
When does training registration open?
Tier 1 training registration opens August 18, and spots are very limited. Get notified here.
Is there tennis for adults?
Yes: Adult Training group classes at all levels, USTA league play, and court time through the Court Access Pass.
